Network outages are so frustrating
I keep going: 'finally, I can get some work.., no there it goes again.' So I can little to nothing done because almost everything I do is on a computer, on the network in fact. I am stymied.
books: Finished Politics Is Murder & started Death on the Cliff Walk. Now that I've read Politics, which was a pretty good mystery by the way, I'm trying to decide what to do with it. I'll probably give it away. I have seen it being offered for $15 online but do I know anyone who's willing to buy it? I'm also reading, more thoroughly, the Witch Hunter rulebook.
I got most of my packing done last night. I will have to finish up as soon as I get home. My last bit of laundry wasn't quite ready by the time that I had to head to bed.
clothes: black half-boots, slacks & belt; grey shirt with black & white leaves and flowers, short-sleeved black crochet vest/sweater; moonstone jewelry & braided (& wet) hair.

Nothing much happening.
I missed the bus this morning. So I was late to work, not much but some.
Spent about half an hour writing cards with a group of students for kids in the Children's Ward at the hospital. I was definitely the oldest person there. I did get a couple compliments about my cards. I have to admit that two of them turned out really well. It's so hard to think about what to write. Whoever gets the card is in the hospital due to a serious, potentially fatal illness. That really limits what you can, appropriately, say.
book: Finished Ghost of a Chance and reading Politics Is Murder (c. 1947) by Edwin Lanham. Ghost is an interesting novel. It's quasi-romance and it's very different. It's in the same world/setting as the Aisling Grey books. Easily explained because Kate Marsh is the pen name of Katie McAllister.
Still screwing up at work.
clothes: black beaded slippers & socks, black slacks & belt & polo, flower band, hematite band, hematite band, & labradorite pendant.
